Unfortunately our hosting provider, the one that hosts the WinProTeam user group's web site as well
as this blog, is unable to provide us with hosting. So I' m in the market
for more hosting. I could have sworn Julie Lerman told me there was a
deal that user groups, through INETA?, could get
free hosting for their site, I' ll have to follow up with her on that.
Obviously we' d like the hosting to be donated, we' d be happy to tell people
who was hosting us, but it would be one less thing we need to find money to
cover. If anyone has any details on the INETA deal or would like to offer
hosting for WinProTeam (currently both the Rockville and Vienna group use the
same codebase, a rainbow install) I' d love to hear from you.
I' ll take the Queue internal if I have to, give me a reason to use one of
the boxes collecting dust in my office. I don' t think the two or three
readers I have will mind.
[UPDATE]: Charles Carroll came through again and
provided us with hosting, it's been a bumpy ride getting the site moved.
We're trying to get all the non database content sorted out now (presentation
archives...)
