So as an effort to head off comment spam (okay, so not even spammers are commenting on my posts yet, I'm not sure if to take offense or be happy) at the pass I went ahead and installed Miguel Jimenez's Clearscreen SharpHIP HIP-CAPTCHA Control. It's dead simple to install (assuming you read the comments and download v1.1 to get the readme.txt which was left out of the updated v1.2). Basically drop the dll into your bin directory and copy PostComment.ascx into your various skins SkinName\Controls\ directory. You might be prudent and rename your original to .orig or something before you overwrite it.

While I was there I saw that Miguel was offering up his skin for grabs so I took it and am using this now. I'll have to come up with my own interesting and clever (all right not too much of a complete forgery of his) header image so I can throw that up. I'll have to call on all my artistic talent (all right, exhausted that) to figure it out.

Oh yeah, and as I post this from BlogJet I realize that I need to set up FTP to my server so I can get image posting from BlogJet to work.
