  I definitely have experienced the same thing in the paste. But I haven't narrowed it down to any particular extension. I recently did a fresh install and am only running Adblock, FilterG updater, FireFTP, iMacros, Stylish and Talkback and so far its stay around 103 MB of memory.
  
  Not the best but i may start disabling stuff to see how it effects things.

  Yeah, I'm down to I think, everything - (gmail checker and forecast fox). I seem to be doing alright so far.

  i've definately liked firefox and it has been great for qute a few years now, but i've been having resource issues where firefox continually climbs. this is not acceptable. (a few years back this is why i also cancelled a pervious browser) so now i'm on to experimenting with something new, like before. it appears browsers only last so long until they get drawn into the advertising scheme of things. *sigh

  I know the feeling and can sympathize. I'm not sure who's to blame, or if several things aren't to blame.
  
  For me, FF3B3 is very nice, but I'm using one or two extensions because no one has rev'd their extensions yet.
  
  Getting rid of some of the polling extensions (Gmail notifier, Forecast fox and the like) helped me with my initial problems.
  
  We'll see what happens to FF3 once it's official and all my extensions work.
